Notice to Absentee Voters

Please be aware that this is the first year L’Anse Township will not be sending absentee voter applications prior to elections.  If you applied to be on the new “Permanent Ballot List” in 2024, you will be mailed absentee ballots for each election for which you are eligible with no extra steps.  If you are currently on this list, please be sure to update your temporary mailing address with your local clerk if you will be away for any 2026 elections.

ALL registered voters may apply for absentee ballots for each eligible election, or request to be put on the “Permanent Ballot List” to automatically receive ballots for all eligible future elections. You can do this online at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/AVApplication/Index or by requesting an application – clerk@lansetownship.org or 906.524.7377
