Notice of Public Accuracy Test – L’Anse Township

To the qualified electors of the Township of L’Anse, Baraga County, State of Michigan:  Notice is hereby given that a Public Accuracy Test for the electronic equipment that will be used in Precinct 1 and the Absent Voter Counting Board for the August 4, 2026 Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 10:00 am in the L’Anse Township Hall located at 126 N. Main St. L’Anse, MI 49946.  The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.
