Alberta Village Museum
This historic model sawmill town once owned by Henry Ford is located 9 miles south of L'Anse on US-41.  For information please visit their website by clicking the link above.

Bishop Baraga Shrine
Located just outside of L'Anse on US-41 is the Bishop Baraga Shrine honoring one of the areas most famous pioneers.

L'Anse Waterfront Park
Located on the waterfront in downtown L'Anse is the L'Anse Waterfront Park.  This scenic park has a swimming beach, children's playground, picnic area and a pavilion with concerts during the summer.

Village of L'Anse Marina
Right next to the L'Anse Waterfront Park is the Village of L'Anse Marina.  Call (906) 524-6116 for information.

L'Anse Township Park and Campground
Located 3 miles north of L'Anse on the Skanee Road is the L'Anse Township Park and Campground.  For park and campground information, click on the link above or call (906) 524-6985.

Second Sand Beach
Just east of of Pequaming is Second Sand Beach which is an ideal location for swimming, picnicking and other day use activities.

L'Anse Golf Club
4 miles south of L'Anse on US-41 is the L'Anse Golf Club.  Call (906) 524-6600 for information.

Little Mountain
Down the road about a mile from the L'Anse Golf Club is Little Mountain.  Here you can take a short hike on the trail to the summit and get a nice view of the area.

Pinery Lakes Cross Country Ski Trail
Set in a thick forest of red pines, this cross country ski trail features 3 marked groomed trails.  For information, click on the link above or call (906) 524-7444.

Falls River
This water course drains from the hills south of L'Anse and empties into Lake Superior near the downtown area.  An excellent fishing stream and very scenic.

Taylor Creek
A stream that crosses US-41 south of L'Anse and is a tributary of the Falls River.  Excellent Trout fishing.

Dault's Creek
A small stream that flows into the Falls River.

Silver River
This river originates in the high country east of Herman and drains into Huron Bay in Arvon Township.  It provides excellent fishing and has many scenic falls.

Gamache Creek
This creek originates from Lough's Lake and crosses both the Silver River Road and Arvon Road as it flows into the Silver River.

Pages Creek
This water course flows in a westerly direction crossing the Arvon Road and is a tributary of Dakota Creek.

Dakota Creek
This creek flows out of Bella Lake and is a tributary of the Silver River.

Silver Creek (Nord's Creek)
This creek crosses the Pequaming Road in Zeba and flows into Lake Superior on Keweenaw Bay.






Aura Cemetery
Located off the main Aura road on Heltunen Road, this cemetery dates back to the early 1900's.  A display board allows visitors to locate graves by name and plot.  Maintained by L'Anse Township.

Evergreen Cemetery
This cemetery is maintained by the Village of L'Anse and is located within the village limits near US-41.

Herman Cemetery
This cemetery is located off the Cemetery Road south of Herman and dates back to the early 1900's.  The Herman Cemetery Association performs perpetual care.

Indian Cemetery
Located about 5 miles from L'Anse off the Skanee Road, this cemetery dates back to the 18th century.  Maintained by the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.

Pequaming Cemetery
This Cemetery is located 7 miles north of L'Anse in the Community of Pequaming.  A display board allows visitors to locate graves by name and plot.  Maintained by L'Anse Township.
